Android Launcher

The client’s main goal was to create a launcher that will provide users with an improved possibility to customize their smartphones. It had to include the newest and unique solutions that will allow Hexa to be competitive with all main players in this field.

Starting from the creation of a simple MVP in 2019, eventually, the project grew into a full-weight product that continues to expand with new features already almost a year. The whole development process was built on the ongoing addition of new features and it was crucial to keep the development as flexible as possible to be able to update Hexa according to user feedback. This flexible approach required us to choose the appropriate method of management and a team of talented Android developers, who would be able to work quickly under the pressure of deadlines. 

Chosen Agile methodologies allowed us to combine the development of new features and UI changes, active response to user feedback, QA sessions, and delivery of new updates.

As a result, Hexa is already released on Google Play, and the expending of the launcher is still ongoing. Active development and the possibility of Vakoms teams to find solutions for difficult client requests lead to starting other mutual projects that will be released soon on the App Store and Windows.
